The e-Bulletin of the Evangelical Renewal Fellowship in New England

Evangelical Renewal Fellowship is the New England Association of the Confessing Movement within the United Methodist Church

The e-Bulletin is a monthly electronic publication reporting on news, events, and actions impacting evangelical renewal within the New England Annual Conference.

July 2010

News:

Recently, twelve representatives of renewal and reform groups within the United Methodist Church met with the Bishops’ Unity Task Force. The same task force had previously met with a group representing the Reconciling Ministries Network and the Methodist Federation for Social Action (MFSA). The wide-ranging and forthright discussion focused on matters that threaten the unity of the United Methodist Church. For an excerpt of a portion of the statement dealing with unity and division within the United Methodist Church that was presented to the Bishops’ Unity Task Force by the renewal and reform group leaders, see "For the Cause of Unity".

In addition to “God’s Renewed Creation” and constitutional amendment voting results, several important issues were on the docket at last month’s Council of Bishops meeting. See "United Methodist Council of Bishops Spring Meeting Recap".

The May/June 2010 edition of "We Confess", the newsletter of the Confessing Movement within the United Methodist Church  is now available online.

The Winter 2010 edition of The Mission Society's quarterly magazine, Unfinished, is now available online. The magazine will help you keep up with the missionaries, ministries, and worldwide mission trends and issues.
